Sochi (Russia) will host the ATOMEXPO-2022 international forum, one of the main congress and exhibition events of the nuclear industry, on November 21-22 in the Sirius Park of Science and Art.

The forum will bring together heads of government bodies, key stakeholders, global nuclear industry players, public organizations and international experts. The guests will discuss current issues of innovative development based on nuclear technologies. Statesmen and leading experts from over 30 countries have already confirmed their participation.


The main topic of the forum is Nuclear Spring: Creating a Sustainable Future. The event will include a plenary session, as well as thematic round tables and panel discussions. The participants will discuss the role of nuclear energy in solving climate change issues and the contribution of nuclear technologies to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Numerous business meetings are expected to take place on the sidelines of the forum with many partnership agreements expected to be signed.
The leading companies of the Russian and global nuclear industry, as well as related industries, will present their technologies and competencies at the forum’s expo.

The ATOMEXPO international forum, organized with the support of ROSATOM, has been held annually since 2009. This is the largest business and exhibition platform where the heads of major companies of the industry and leading experts discuss the challenges of developing nuclear technologies, strengthen partnerships and exchange best practices.
The format of the Forum includes an exhibition and an extensive business program, focused on the topics: development of nuclear power as an environmentally friendly source of energy; human capital management; creation of nuclear power infrastructure; financing and investments in the energy sector; development of non-power nuclear technologies and many others. The forum is organized by Atomexpo company.
More than 4,000 participants from 74 countries (including about 300 media representatives) took part in the ATOMEXPO-2019 Forum. The space of the exhibition within the Forum exceeded 13,000 square meters. About 40 cooperation agreements were signed at the Forum. The Forum was not held in 2020-2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Nuclear power is of particular importance in connection with the global priority of combating climate change.
